The Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC)
was set up in 1955 under the sponsorship of Ministry of Commerce,
Govt. of India to promote exports of engineering goods, projects
and services from India. The Council which initially started as
a small outfit with few members has, during the course of the last
five decades, established itself as the largest Export Promotion
Council in India. Now it has a membership of nearly 13,000 Indian
firms covering the entire spectrum of engineering industry consisting
of large Corporate Houses, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trading
Companies and also Business and Trade Associations. It is the first
Export Promotion Organization in India to have received ISO-9002
certification from the world renowned organization KPMG. EEPC is
also the first organization in the country to have achieved ISO
9001:2000 certification from KPMG for designing and organizing exclusive
Engineering Exhibitions abroad. The Council has also implemented
ERP and boast of a website (www.eepcindia.org)
which is updated on daily basis.
Export Promotion Programmes:
EEPC provides multifarious services to both, Indian
exporters and overseas buyers. To make "Made in India"
an international force, each year EEPC consciously plans its calendar
of export promotion events, which include:

How does EEPC help overseas Buyers:
EEPC also provides a host of services to overseas
buyers at free of cost so as to facilitate their procurement of
products from India. The services include inter-alia the following:

of Indian Engineering Industry.
• Acts as a trusted link between Indian exporters and foreign
buyers.
• Identifies suitable suppliers in India.
• Arrange visits of overseas buyers, missions and trade delegations
to India.

EEPC has their Head Office at Kolkata and Territorial Division
at New Delhi. It has a network of Regional and Sub-Regional Offices
